Who is Kanabo Safaris
Johann and Sandra Nothnagel are owner / operators of Kanabo Safaris. Kanabo Safaris was established in May 1998, and before that they were involved in another safari operation for three years.
Our passion for the Kalahari and Southern Africa got us into the industry and has kept us going for 13 years. We have been there for all our clients for this time and will be for the future.
Johann has been living and following his vision, believing that you have to "find something that you will do for free, then make a living out of it" to be successful.

We have been operational for 13 years conducting safaris to the Kalahari and Southern Africa. The Kalahari and Southern Africa, our land of a thousand sunsets, is where we have taken friends to for the last 13 years. Kanabo is not just a tour, it's an experience. Follow the sun, not the crowds, through a continent of huge vistas, climatic extremes and fascinating adaptations to harsh conditions. We have walked the extra mile, we have shown the sunsets, we have opened experiences and we have loved this continent.
